History of our Show
History of our Show
2010: Our start into computerized lighting. Originally we set out to have a simple display using a device/system back then known as a "Mr. Christmas". We ended up discovering computerized lighting with Light-o-Rama hardware and software. Hooked up some traditional AC lights and we were on our way!!

2011: We added more lights this year, and something called a "Weber" tree (pictured above). Sequencing got better and the conversion to LEDs was underway.

2012 - 2018 : These years included transitioning from AC lights to DC including "dumb-rgb" strips , floodlights, and eventually "smart" Cosmic Color Bulbs (CCBs) which now line our candy cane fence. Sequencing software continued to improve and the show began to grown in popularity. We were added to the ColoradoXmas.com light show tour, as well as multiple sites including the Colorado Springs Light Tour. We were also featured in a brief KKTV story on Tv in 2013.

2019: The year of the pixel. After years of consideration, we decided to toss out everything we knew about holiday lighting and jump into the world of RGB Pixels. This meant learning how to build a controller (after designing it), designing and installation of ~ 3000 RGB pixels, and all new software. What started with hours upon hours of research, video watching, sequencing, set up, troubleshooting, more sequencing, more troubleshooting, Zoom calls, and did we mention troubleshooting? We ran our first show with moderate to pretty decent success.

2020: We had a great year although we had to cut the season a little short as we welcomed Baby Bennett. In 2020, we added over 5000 more pixels, new props, and new music.

2021: And here we are...this year we added even more pixels, and our MEGA TREE!!! You will have to come check it out! Looking forward to a successful year (already including lots of troubleshooting), and wish everyone Happy Holiday Season!
